Senior RPA​/Automation Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Senior RPA / Intelligent Automation Consultant to support, develop, and help manage an Automation Center of Excellence (CoE) within a banking environment.

The role requires a strong combination of RPA and Intelligent Automation expertise, digital transformation experience, technical acumen, stakeholder management, and CoE governance
. The consultant will work closely with business functions, IT teams, technical partners, vendors, and senior leadership to identify and prioritize automation opportunities, develop business cases, manage the automation pipeline, coordinate end-to-end delivery, and measure the business value generated through automation.

The successful candidate will also contribute to defining the bank's RPA and Intelligent Automation strategy, operating model, governance framework, roadmap, and product backlog
, while ensuring automation initiatives deliver measurable improvements in cost, productivity, operational efficiency, and customer experience.

• Support the establishment, development, and ongoing management of the RPA / Intelligent Automation Center of Excellence (CoE).
• Contribute to defining and executing the organization's RPA and Intelligent Automation strategy, roadmap, operating model, and governance framework

• Establish and maintain automation standards, methodologies, policies, controls, and delivery frameworks to ensure consistent and scalable automation delivery.
• Own and manage RPA-related requirements and initiatives within the automation product backlog
  , ensuring alignment with business priorities and the overall digital transformation strategy.
• Drive a structured governance model covering automation intake, assessment, prioritization, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and benefits realization.
• Promote automation best practices and support the development of a sustainable, enterprise-wide automation capability.

• Partner with business functions to identify and assess RPA, Intelligent Automation, and Hyperautomation opportunities across different processes.
• Evaluate business processes for automation suitability based on complexity, transaction volumes, standardization, risk, technical feasibility, and potential business value.
• Manage and prioritize the automation opportunity pipeline
  , ensuring high-value initiatives are appropriately assessed and progressed.
• Facilitate process discovery and assessment sessions with business stakeholders to understand current processes, pain points, inefficiencies, and automation potential.
• Support the preparation of business cases, cost-benefit analyses, ROI calculations, KPIs, and expected business benefits for proposed automation initiatives.

• Oversee the complete automation lifecycle from opportunity assessment and process discovery through solution design, development, testing, deployment, and post-production support

• Coordinate delivery activities across business teams, IT, developers, technical partners, solution providers, and external vendors.
• Provide technical guidance on RPA and Intelligent Automation solutions and ensure proposed solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise standards.
• Leverage strong technical knowledge to support the execution of active automation projects and implementation of solutions for predefined manual and repetitive processes.
• Support automation testing, UAT coordination, deployment readiness, and production transition activities.
• Monitor deployed automations and collaborate with relevant teams to resolve operational or technical issues impacting automation performance.
