Odoo Business Solutions Specialist

You will design, configure and take ownership of Odoo ERP support, helping replace legacy systems and stabilize core business processes.

The role focuses on core Odoo modules supporting retail and distribution workflows, infrastructure rollouts and corporate activities.

You will bridge business operations and technical teams, translating requirements into practical system solutions and coordinating closely with an outsourced Odoo implementer.

• Lead the deployment and continuous improvement of Odoo POS across retail locations.
• Act as the primary contact for daily support tickets and functional enquiries.
• Troubleshoot critical operational issues to maintain uninterrupted sales and business continuity.

• Coordinate with business users, project teams and the implementer.
• Track tasks, milestones and dependencies.
• Ensure delivery remains on schedule, within scope and aligned with enterprise IT governance requirements.

• Configure and manage Odoo Events for corporate functions, product launches and internal training.
• Set up ticketing, attendee registration, automated communications and post-event reporting.

• Conduct gap analyses and map retail and distribution workflows to Odoo capabilities.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications.
• Collaborate with developers and vendors on customizations and API integrations with legacy systems.
• Prepare runbooks, user manuals and technical documentation.

• Coordinate with the outsourced implementer and third-party support vendors during implementation and stabilization.
• Follow up on escalated tickets and review vendor deliverables.
• Define and validate acceptance criteria and coordinate formal sign-off.
• Deliver knowledge-transfer sessions and user training to support adoption.

• Demonstrated experience in Odoo functional consulting, implementation or application support.
• Hands-on experience configuring and supporting Odoo POS.
• Experience with retail or distribution business processes.
• Ability to gather requirements, conduct gap analyses and document workflows.
• Experience coordinating implementation activities, vendors and business stakeholders.
• Understanding of system integrations, data migration and customization requirements.
• Experience conducting user acceptance testing, training and post-go-live support.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication and documentation skills.

• Odoo functional certification.
• Hands-on experience with Odoo Projects and Events.
• Experience supporting multiple retail locations.
• Exposure to core modules such as Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting and CRM.
• Experience replacing legacy systems and stabilizing ERP operations.
