Information Technology Specialist

TalentScript is recruiting on behalf of a Kuwait-based holding company seeking an experienced IT Specialist to oversee the smooth operation, security, and maintenance of technology systems across its head office and other locations.

We are looking for a hands-on professional with strong technical skills across access control, CCTV, telephony, networking, and IT support.

• Maintain and troubleshoot access control systems, including biometric and facial recognition scanners, and manage user credentials and permissions.
• Support telephony systems, including VoIP, phone lines, call routing, and mobile devices.
• Maintain and monitor CCTV cameras and recording systems, and protect surveillance data and footage.
• Manage backup and recovery processes, and regularly test and document disaster recovery plans.
• Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, network, email, and user account issues.
• Maintain and optimize network infrastructure, including routers, switches, Wi-Fi, and internet connectivity.
• Implement IT security measures such as antivirus, firewalls, and access controls, and address vulnerabilities proactively.
• Manage IT asset inventory, documentation, and reporting.
• Coordinate with IT and access control vendors and track SLA compliance.
• Train employees on new systems, cybersecurity awareness, and IT onboarding for new hires.
• Provide administrative support, including procurement, document control, and coordinating high-level meetings and reporting packs.

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in IT support, troubleshooting, and systems maintenance.
• Required hands‑on experience with access control (biometrics, access points), telephony, CCTV, and backup/recovery solutions.
• Strong knowledge of hardware, networking, and operating systems (Windows, macOS).
• Experience with Office 365 administration, firewalls, servers, and ERP systems.
• Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, CCNA, or MCSA are preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and time-management skills, with a proactive, customer‑centric approach.
