Demand Planning Officer

We are looking for a Demand Planning Officer with strong analytical skills in statistics and quantitative analysis to manage forecasting, inventory planning, and procurement.

This role focuses on analyzing current sales data and trends
, forecasting future demand,
placing purchase orders with both local and international suppliers
, and ensuring inventory is consistently available without overstocking or stockouts
.

You will play a key role in maintaining a data-driven and efficient supply chain aligned with business needs.

• Analyze current sales data and trends to forecast future demand using statistical methods
• Calculate and maintain safety stock, reorder points, and optimal inventory levels
• Plan and execute purchase orders with local and international suppliers
• Ensure continuous stock availability while avoiding overstocking and stockouts
• Apply forecasting techniques such as moving averages, trend analysis, and regression models
• Monitor demand patterns and adjust forecasts based on seasonality and real-time data
• Track and improve forecast accuracy and inventory performance
• Coordinate with Sales and Warehouse to ensure stock accuracy and replenishment
• Manage supplier lead times and ensure timely deliveries
• Prepare reports on demand forecasts, stock levels, and purchasing plans

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Supply Chain, Mechanical Engineering, Statistics, or related field
• Strong understanding of statistics and data analysis for demand planning
• Ability to apply quantitative methods in forecasting and inventory control
• Advanced Excel skills (analysis, formulas, reporting) with experience using ERP systems or inventory planning tools
• Experience in inventory planning, procurement, or supply chain
• Good understanding of safety stock and demand variability concepts
• Fluent in English;
  Arabic is an advantage
