To ensure the efficient planning, coordination, monitoring, and execution of supply chain activities, including inventory management, purchase orders, supplier follow-up, shipment tracking, stock coverage monitoring, and maintaining accurate supply chain records and reports.
Key Responsibilities Supply Planning & Procurement- Prepare and place purchase orders based on approved forecasts and stock requirements.
- Follow up with suppliers on order confirmations, production schedules, and shipment readiness.
- Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries.
- Monitor lead times and communicate potential delays.
- Monitor stock levels and stock coverage for all products.
- Identify slow-moving, fast-moving, and critical stock items.
- Ensure adequate inventory levels to prevent stock-outs and overstock situations.
- Prepare regular stock coverage and inventory status reports.
- Maintain and update all supply chain monitoring sheets and trackers.
- Ensure accuracy of purchasing, shipment, inventory, and forecasting data.
- Generate weekly and monthly supply chain reports for management review.
- Track supplier performance and delivery timelines.
- Monitor inbound shipments from order placement until warehouse receipt.
- Follow up on shipping documents and customs clearance requirements.
- Coordinate with logistics providers to ensure timely delivery.
- Update shipment tracking reports and communicate shipment status to stakeholders.
- Maintain and update supplier payment tracking sheets.
- Monitor payments completed and outstanding payments.
- Coordinate with Finance to ensure timely processing of supplier payments.
- Follow up on supplier account statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Stock availability level.
- Stock coverage accuracy.
- Accuracy and timeliness of supply chain reports.
- Shipment tracking accuracy.
- Timely update of monitoring sheets.
- Outstanding supplier payments status.
- Inventory turnover and stock aging levels.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or inventory management.
- Good analytical and reporting capabilities.
- Strong follow-up and organizational skills.
- Ability to work with suppliers, logistics providers, sales teams, and finance departments.
- Good communication skills in English;
Arabic is an advantage.
