Role Description The Purchasing Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Kuwait City, responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities for DAL Store’s lighting products and related materials. This role includes reviewing purchase requisitions, preparing and processing purchase orders, and maintaining accurate records in line with company policies. The Purchasing Officer will source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts and pricing, monitor inventory levels, and coordinate deliveries to ensure product availability and cost-effective procurement.

Daily tasks also involve analyzing purchasing data, tracking vendor performance, collaborating with store management and lighting consultants on product needs, and supporting continuous improvement of purchasing processes.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong knowledge of purchasing processes, including handling purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
• Candidates should possess skills in contract negotiation and vendor relationship management.
• Candidates should possess analytical skills for evaluating suppliers, pricing, and inventory data.
• Candidates should possess proficiency with basic procurement and inventory software, and MS Office tools.
• Candidates should possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with internal teams and external partners.
• Relevant experience in retail or lighting products procurement is beneficial.
• A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred.
