Purchases Supervisor – Non-Food

We are looking for an experienced Purchases Supervisor – Non-Food to join a

leading organization in Kuwait.

Manage procurement activities across a diverse range of non-food categories,

including stationery and office supplies, engineering and mechanical

equipment, uniforms and workwear, food packaging and disposables,

printing materials, and general consumables.

Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, quality, availability,

and reliable delivery.

Negotiate prices, payment terms, contracts, and delivery schedules with

suppliers.

Review product specifications, quotations, and supplier proposals to ensure they

meet business requirements.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and identify new

sourcing opportunities.

Monitor market prices and supplier performance to identify cost-saving

opportunities.

Coordinate with internal departments to understand requirements and ensure

timely procurement.

Monitor purchase orders and deliveries while ensuring compliance with

procurement procedures.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or a

related field.

Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in non-food

purchasing/procurement.

Experience managing multiple procurement categories and supplier portfolios.

Strong negotiation, sourcing, and supplier management skills.

Good knowledge of local suppliers and market conditions.

Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
