Maintenance Supervisor - Recombining

Our client, a leading organization in Kuwait, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee daily operations within the UHT & Processing section. This critical role ensures maximum production efficiency, adherence to health and safety standards, and effective machinery maintenance.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and perform preventive maintenance, services, and breakdown repairs, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal machinery performance.
• Identify and address recurring maintenance issues, proposing effective solutions to improve reliability and reduce breakdown trends.
• Collaborate with production teams to resolve maintenance concerns promptly, ensuring smooth operations.
• Upgrade, install, and optimize plant machinery and equipment as required, maintaining high efficiency.
• Supervise and develop staff of varying skill levels by evaluating performance, encouraging progression, and ensuring adequate training is provided.
• Ensure compliance with company regulations regarding hygiene, health, safety, environmental standards, and 5S practices.
• Maintain accurate documentation of spare parts requirements, update technical drawings, and keep equipment manuals up to date.
• Monitor and optimize the preventive maintenance program while organizing shift rotations and leave schedules effectively.
• Oversee and report on health, safety, hygiene, and housekeeping standards within the section.
• Support the Manager with assigned tasks and provide coverage for colleagues when needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• A minimum of 10 years in dairy maintenance, with at least 3-5 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong customer orientation and results-driven mindset.
• Excellent teamwork, time management, and analytical thinking abilities.
• Process-oriented with a focus on achieving high-quality standards and continuous improvement.
