The ideal candidate should have a minimum of two years of experience in this field, and be comfortable with a wide range of welding techniques. As a Welder, your primary responsibility is to weld materials using the appropriate welding techniques.

• measuring and cutting materials accurately using hand tools and machines such as lathes and drill presses
• setting up and operating welding equipment
• selecting the correct filler rods
• interpreting blueprints or drawings
• inspecting completed work for accuracy
• making repairs on existing welds as needed
• adhering to all safety procedures
• participating in ongoing training sessions

You may also be required to perform additional duties related to welding operations.
