Hydraulic mechanic

A leading company in Kuwait is looking for a Hydraulic Mechanic. Use pressure gauges and flow meters to troubleshoot hydraulic circuits. You'll identify if a loss of power is due to a pump failure, a leaking control valve, or an internal cylinder bypass. Disassemble and rebuild high-pressure hydraulic pumps (piston, gear, or vane), motors, and multi-spool control valves to factory specifications.

Reseal and re-chrome hydraulic cylinders and jacks. In Kuwait's abrasive sand, rod seals fail frequently; you are responsible for ensuring zero leaks. Operate hose crimping machinery to manufacture custom high-pressure hoses (up to 6,000 PSI) for field replacements. Monitor hydraulic oil quality and filtration. You'll coordinate with the Maintenance Manager to schedule oil flushing to prevent "varnishing" caused by extreme summer heat.

• Technical Expertise:
  Mastery of reading hydraulic schematics (ISO symbols) to trace circuits across complex machines like CAT or Komatsu.
• Precision Tooling:
  Proficiency with micrometers and calipers to measure tolerances in pump housings and valves.

Vocational diploma in Fluid Power or Mechanical Engineering.

• Usually 5+ years specifically in heavy-duty hydraulics.
• Experience with closed-loop hydrostatic drives is a major advantage.
