We are looking for an experienced Asphalt Plant Operator to operate and monitor asphalt production activities at our asphalt plant in Kuwait. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth plant operation, maintaining production quality, coordinating with site and dispatch teams, and following all safety and operational procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Operate the asphalt plant control system and monitor the full production process.
- Ensure asphalt mix is produced according to approved mix designs and required specifications.
- Coordinate with the laboratory, production team, loader operator, drivers, and site representatives.
- Monitor material feeding, burner operation, temperature, weighing system, bitumen supply, and production output.
- Report any mechanical, electrical, or operational issues to the maintenance team.
- Maintain daily production records, material consumption records, and plant operation reports.
- Ensure proper startup and shutdown procedures are followed.
- Maintain cleanliness and safe working conditions around the plant.
- Follow company HSE rules and report unsafe conditions immediately.
Previous experience as an Asphalt Plant Operator is required.
Good knowledge of asphalt production process, aggregate feeding, bitumen system, burner operation, and temperature control.
Ability to operate computerized plant control systems.
Basic understanding of asphalt mix designs and quality requirements.
Ability to identify operational problems and coordinate with maintenance staff.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet production targets.
Commitment to safety procedures and plant housekeeping.
Previous experience in Kuwait or GCC asphalt plants is preferred.
