ZAIN- Transport Network

About The Role

Execute the day-to-day implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of transport network infrastructure. Ensure seamless integration of systems to support mobile, fixed, and B2B services.

• Install, configure, and test transport network equipment, including RON, GPON, and DWDM systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure optimal uptime.
• Support capacity expansions and infrastructure upgrades.
• Monitor alarms, analyze logs, and respond to incidents promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of network inventory, configurations, and updates.
• Assist specialists and professionals in troubleshooting escalated issues.
• Perform all the above-mentioned roles and responsibilities in compliance with the Information Security Management System (ISMS) policies and report any information/physical security breaches or incidents to the supervisor/manager immediately.
• Be aware of and adhere to all environmental requirements as set by the statutory bodies in Kuwait, or by the published policies of Zain Group/Kuwait.
• Zain abides by fulfilling the occupational health and safety certificate requirements that establishes and maintains an OH&S management system that eliminates hazards and minimizes OH&S risks (including system deficiencies), take advantage of OH&S opportunities and addresses OH&S management system nonconformities associated with its activities.

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
