Production Manager – Wood Factory, Kuwait
We’re Hiring:
Production Manager at a wood factory in Kuwait:
We're looking for a Production Manager to join our team, a busy and growing wood factory.
The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in joinery production and be capable of independently managing the complete production process for all types of joinery and woodwork items, from approved shop drawings through to finished products ready for delivery and installation.
Key Responsibilities- Independently manage and supervise the complete joinery production process.
- Plan and organize daily and weekly production activities according to project requirements and deadlines.
- Coordinate with the Drafting, Estimation, Procurement, Factory, Quality Control and Site Installation teams.
- Study approved shop drawings and ensure production is carried out accurately as per drawings and specifications.
- Manage production of doors, wardrobes, kitchens, wall paneling, cabinets, counters, reception desks, furniture and other custom joinery items.
- Ensure proper allocation of manpower, machinery, materials and production resources.
- Monitor production progress and ensure timely completion of all orders.
- Ensure quality, dimensions, materials, finishes and construction are as per approved requirements.
- Identify production issues and provide practical technical solutions.
- Control material wastage and improve production efficiency.
- Coordinate with the site team regarding measurements, modifications and installation requirements.
- Maintain proper production schedules and provide regular progress updates to management.
- Ensure all completed items are properly checked and ready for delivery and site installation.
- Proven experience as a Production Manager / Production Head in a joinery or woodwork factory.
- Strong technical knowledge of joinery manufacturing and construction.
- Ability to independently manage multiple joinery projects and production activities.
- Excellent understanding of shop drawings, materials, hardware, finishes and joinery details.
- Strong knowledge of factory machinery, production methods and workflow.
- Good leadership and team-management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict project deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Experience in interior fit-out and bespoke joinery is highly preferred.
The successful candidate should be a hands-on professional who can take full responsibility for joinery production, manage the factory independently, and ensure that all items are manufactured to the required quality and delivered on schedule.
salary: 300 KD
