This is a full-time, hybrid role for a MGI Jetvarnish 3D Sport UV or iFOIL digital printing machine operator, based in Al Asimah, Kuwait, with some work-from-home tasks as appropriate. The operator will set up, calibrate, and run the MGI Jetvarnish 3D or iFOIL machine to produce high-quality UV spot varnish and foiling effects on printed materials. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing print files, loading substrates, monitoring print runs, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring output meets quality and safety standards.

The role involves coordinating with prepress and design teams, troubleshooting machine issues, and documenting production data and job details. The operator will also help optimize workflows, manage materials, and support continuous improvement in print quality and efficiency.

• Experience operating digital printing machinery, preferably MGI Jetvarnish 3D, iFOIL, or similar UV/foil enhancement systems.
• Knowledge of print production processes, including substrate handling, color management basics, and finishing techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret job tickets, artwork files, and technical specifications for print and post-press operations.
• Strong attention to detail, quality control mindset, and ability to identify and correct print defects during production.
• Basic mechanical and technical troubleshooting skills to adjust machine settings and perform routine maintenance safely.
• Comfort with using computers and print-related software for job setup, file management, and production reporting.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with design, prepress, and production teams in a hybrid work environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, handle materials safely, and follow workplace health and safety procedures.
• Previous experience in a commercial printing press or packaging environment is preferred.
• Relevant vocational training or certification in printing technology or a related field is an advantage.
