They should also possess excellent problem-solving skills in order to detect and repair any defects or inconsistencies in joints or welds.

• Read and interpret technical blueprints, drawings, and sketches
• Set up welding machines according to required specifications
• Operate metalworking machinery such as grinders, plasma cutters, etc.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards
• Repair any faulty pieces or joints using appropriate techniques
• Ensure that all safety protocols are followed at all times

• High school diploma or GED equivalency
• Minimum 1 year of experience in welding or metal fabrication
• Good knowledge of various welding processes (e.g., MIG/TIG/ARC)
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Outstanding physical dexterity with strong attention to detail
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Strong organizational skills
