CNC Engineer​/CNC Programmer; Metal Fabrication

About the Role:

We are a growing company headquartered in Kuwait
, seeking an experienced and detail-oriented CNC Engineer / Programmer to manage precision metal cutting, routing, and component fabrication for our custom caravans and mobile units project based in Doha, Qatar
.

In this role, you will be responsible for translating engineering designs and 3D CAD/CAM models into precise G-code, setting up and operating CNC machinery, and ensuring high-accuracy output for structural brackets, panels, and custom parts.

Key Responsibilities:

• CNC Programming & CAM: Create, test, and optimize CNC programs using CAD/CAM software to cut, mill, shape, and drill steel, aluminum, and composite materials.
• Machine Setup & Operation: Set up, calibrate, and operate CNC machines (routers, plasma cutters, or milling centers) to achieve tight production tolerances.
• Blueprint & Drawing Interpretation: Read and interpret technical engineering drawings and fabrication blueprints to ensure parts match exact specifications.
• Tooling & Quality Control: Select appropriate cutting tools, monitor machine performance, and inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers).
• Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Resolve any programming, tooling, or hardware issues during runs and perform routine preventive maintenance on CNC equipment.
• Cross-Functional Workflow: Coordinate closely with our mechanical design and workshop fabrication teams in Doha, Qatar

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: 3 to 6 years of hands‑on experience in CNC programming and operations within a metal or structural fabrication environment.

• Deep knowledge of metal properties (steel, aluminum), cutting speeds, feeds, and tolerances.

• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to safety and quality control standards.
• Mobility: Fully willing and able to work on‑site for project execution in Doha, Qatar
