Welder

The Welder is responsible for joining metal components and structures using various welding techniques, ensuring all work meets quality, safety, and production standards. The role involves reading technical drawings, preparing materials, operating welding equipment, and inspecting completed welds.

• Perform welding activities using MIG, TIG, ARC, and other welding techniques as required.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding specifications.
• Prepare metal surfaces, materials, and components for welding.
• Cut, shape, and assemble metal parts according to project requirements.
• Inspect welded joints to ensure strength, accuracy, and quality.
• Operate and maintain welding machines, tools, and related equipment.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Identify and repair defective welds when necessary.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Coordinate with supervisors, fabricators, and other team members to complete projects on time.

• High school diploma, vocational training, or relevant technical certification is preferred.
• Proven experience in welding is an advantage.
• Knowledge of different welding methods, metal types, and welding equipment.
• Ability to read technical drawings and measurements.
• Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Physically fit and able to work in industrial or construction environments.
