The HSE Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and leading Health, Safety, and Environmental activities across multiple sites within the Water and Food Business Unit in Kuwait. The role will ensure compliance with company policies, applicable legal requirements, and international HSE standards.

The incumbent will provide operational direction, drive risk management initiatives, lead incident investigations, monitor HSE performance, and promote a proactive safety culture across all assigned sites. The role will also work closely with site teams and cross-functional departments to identify risks, implement preventive measures, and continuously improve HSE performance.

• Oversee and coordinate HSE activities across multiple sites within the Water and Food Business Unit.
• Ensure compliance with company HSE policies, applicable legislation, regulatory requirements, and international standards.
• Maintain and continuously improve HSE management systems across assigned sites.
• Provide guidance and support to site teams on occupational health, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Ensure effective implementation and sustainability of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
• Monitor compliance with HSE procedures, instructions, controls, and applicable legal requirements.

• Conduct and oversee HSE audits, risk assessments, workplace inspections, and safety reviews.
• Identify potential hazards and implement appropriate preventive and corrective measures.
• Develop and implement site-specific HSE plans and risk management initiatives.
• Ensure audit findings are appropriately addressed and closed within stipulated timelines.
• Monitor workplace conditions and ensure compliance with established safety standards and procedures.

• Lead and coordinate investigations of accidents, incidents, near misses, and other HSE events.
• Conduct root cause analysis using appropriate methodologies, including RCA and 5 Whys.
• Ensure timely and thorough incident investigations and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor the effectiveness and timely closure of corrective actions.
• Identify trends and recurring issues and recommend measures to prevent future incidents.

• Develop, implement, and maintain site-specific emergency response procedures and plans.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness activities, drills, and response exercises.
• Deliver and coordinate HSE training, awareness sessions, and toolbox talks.
• Ensure 100% employee participation in mandatory HSE training programs and toolbox talks.
• Promote awareness of safe working practices and emergency response requirements.

• Monitor and drive achievement of company HSE KPIs, including zero fatalities, zero LTIs, and reduction of LTIFR.
• Prepare and review HSE performance reports, dashboards, and management updates.
• Monitor site HSE performance and identify areas requiring improvement.
• Track incidents, near misses, audit findings, corrective actions, and other key HSE indicators.
• Provide timely recommendations to management based on HSE performance trends and identified risks.

• Lead, supervise, and manage HSE technicians and support their professional development.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Engineering, Warehouse, HR, and other relevant departments on HSE matters.
• Provide guidance and technical support to employees and site management on HSE requirements.
• Promote workforce engagement and active participation in HSE initiatives.
• Foster a positive HSE culture through employee engagement, hazard reporting, and proactive risk identification.

• Support effective implementation of environmental management practices across assigned sites.
• Monitor compliance with environmental requirements and ISO 14001 standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve environmental performance and reduce workplace and environmental risks.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen HSE performance across the sites.
• Undertake special projects and other responsibilities assigned by Agthia leadership as required.
