Quality Engineer - Switchgear

We are currently seeking a Quality Engineer - Switchgear for one of our clients in Kuwait.

• Implement and monitor quality control processes in LV & MV switch gear manufacturing activities.
• Conduct incoming material inspections, in-process quality checks, and final inspections before dispatch.
• Ensure all products comply with IEC standards, project specifications, and customer requirements.
• Handle Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), quality documentation, inspection reports, and related records.
• Coordinate corrective and preventive actions to address quality-related issues and improve processes.
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to maintain quality standards throughout project execution.

Experience

Required:

Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience in switch gear quality control and inspection is mandatory.

• Strong knowledge of LV & MV panel inspection and testing procedures.
• Good understanding of IEC standards and switch gear manufacturing practices.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management systems.
• Strong documentation, reporting, and communication skills.
• Ability to identify quality issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Candidates with hands on experience in switch gear manufacturing environments and strong quality assurance backgrounds will be preferred.
