Merchandiser – Retail Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Merchandiser to join our retail team in Al-Kuwait. As a Merchandiser, you will play a key role in promoting and selling our products to customers. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our products are displayed and marketed in an attractive manner, with the goal of maximizing sales and profitability.

• Develop and implement merchandising strategies to increase sales and profitability.
• Monitor product inventory levels and ensure proper stock rotation.
• Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate favorable pricing, promotions, and product placement.
• Work closely with the sales team to analyze customer buying patterns and adjust merchandising strategies accordingly.
• Conduct market research to identify new trends and opportunities for product expansion.
• Train store staff on product knowledge, merchandising techniques, and customer service skills.
• Regularly visit stores to ensure compliance with merchandising standards and provide feedback on areas for improvement.
• Analyze sales data to identify areas of growth or decline, and make recommendations for improvements.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
• 2+ years of experience as a Merchandiser or similar role in the retail industry.
• Strong knowledge of retail operations, including inventory management, pricing strategies, and visual merchandising techniques.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and store staff.
• Proven track record of increasing sales through effective merchandising strategies.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).
