Job Overview

We are a reputable retail company located in Al‑Kuwait and we are seeking a reliable and customer‑oriented Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier you will be responsible for handling cash and card transactions with customers, providing them with accurate product information and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

• Greet customers as they enter the store and assist them with any inquiries or concerns
• Process cash and card payments accurately and efficiently
• Count and balance cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift
• Maintain knowledge of current sales promotions, policies and procedures
• Scan items, bag purchases, issue receipts and handle returns or exchanges
• Keep checkout area clean, organized and well‑stocked with necessary supplies
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth store operations
• Handle customer complaints or issues in a professional manner
• Upsell products by promoting special offers or additional items at the checkout counter

• Proven work experience as a Cashier or in a similar role is preferred but not required
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required
• Fluent in English verbal and written; additional language skills are a plus
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve conflicts effectively
• Basic math skills to handle transactions accurately without using a calculator
• Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays if needed
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment

This is a contract job offering a monthly salary of 900$. The salary may be negotiable based on qualifications and experience.
