We are looking for a detail-oriented Cashier to join our team at Al-Kuwait. This position is responsible for the accurate and efficient processing of customer transactions at the register. The ideal candidate has excellent customer service skills and is able to handle multiple tasks at once with accuracy. The position requires a person with great communication skills, an enthusiasm for working with customers, and knowledge of cash handling procedures.

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a cashier in a retail setting preferred
• Able to accurately handle various forms of payments
• Excellent customer service skills
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
• Ability to work well with others in a team environment

• Greet customers when entering or leaving the store
• Process all transactions accurately and efficiently
• Receive payment by cash, check, credit card, vouchers or other payment methods
• Issue change, receipts, refunds or tickets
• Count money in cash drawer at beginning and end of each shift
• Resolve customer complaints in a professional manner
• Answer any customer questions about products or services offered by the store

The Cashier will be expected to work during regular hours either part-time or full-time depending on need. This position will require the ability to stand for long periods of time as well as lift up to 25 pounds. An individual must be able to handle multiple tasks with accuracy while also providing excellent customer service.
