Cashier - Contract Position (Indian/Egyptian Nationals)

We are currently seeking experienced cashiers to join our team on a contract basis in our store located in Al-Kuwait, Kuwait. This is a great opportunity for Indian or Egyptian nationals who are looking for a short-term job without the need for English language proficiency. As a cashier, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently processing customer transactions at the point of sale.

You will also be responsible for providing excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers, resolving any issues or concerns, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.

• - Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using cash registers or POS systems
• - Greet customers with a friendly demeanor and assist them with their purchases
• - Resolve any customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner
• - Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions to effectively upsell products at the checkout
• - Ensure all merchandise is properly scanned and priced before finalizing transactions
• - Count cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift to ensure accurate amounts
• - Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including restocking bags, receipt paper, etc.
• - Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling, refunds/exchanges, etc.

• - Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar role is preferred but not required
• - Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
• - Basic math skills with the ability to accurately count money and make change quickly
• - Strong communication skills (Arabic/English) would be an advantage but not required as this is not an English-speaking job.
• - Must have own visa/permit allowing them to work in Kuwait without sponsorship from the employer.
• - Flexibility to work on contract basis without accommodation provided.
