International Business Development Manager

Advanced Meds is a Kuwait based functional supplements company. We build fun, consumer friendly wellness brands and own the full portfolio, which spans gummies, oral strips, powder, jelly beans, soft chews, lollipops, liquid shots and more. We make wellness impossible to ignore. We are now expanding across the GCC and appointing distribution partners market by market.

You will build and manage our distribution across the GCC for the full Advanced Meds portfolio. That means finding and signing the right distributors market by market, structuring protective deals, and then managing those partners so the brands grow. You will prioritise the markets where we can move fastest, and build from there.

• Identify, vet and appoint distributors across the GCC in pharmacy, modern trade, retail and e-commerce.
• Negotiate protective agreements, including exclusivity tied to targets, minimum volumes, and product registration kept in our name or guaranteed transferable.
• Own each market day to day: sell in, listings, launches, sell through, targets and reporting.
• Coordinate product registration and compliance with distributors and the relevant authorities in each market.
• Manage distributor relationships for the long term, including handling a change of partner when one is needed.
• Travel constantly across the region, with Kuwait as your home base.

• Live, current distributor and buyer relationships across the GCC. This is the single most important requirement.
• Around ten years or more appointing and managing distributors, ideally in supplements, FMCG, consumer health or pharma.
• A track record of opening markets and signing distributors, not only managing existing accounts.
• A strong, social relationship builder who is happy living on the road.
• Fluent Arabic and English.
• Based in Kuwait and able to travel across the GCC most of the time.
