About the Role
The job holder is responsible for ensuring that media investments are transparent, optimized, and accurately invoiced. This role plays a critical part in validating media spending, reconciling invoices, and ensuring compliance with contractual and financial controls.
Key Accountabilities- Track media spend across campaigns and platforms to ensure alignment with approved budgets.
- Maintain accurate records of commitments, actuals, and forecasts.
- Provide regular spend reports and insights.
- Identify discrepancies or irregularities in spend patterns.
- Review and validate media invoices against platform data, insertion orders, and agreed rates.
- Reconcile billed amounts with actual delivery and performance metrics.
- Confirm vendor compliance with contractual terms.
- Ensure all billing is supported by transparent documentation and proof of performance.
- Act as a key interface between Marketing, Agencies, Finance, and Procurement.
- Support vendor evaluations with performance and cost data.
- Contribute to process improvements for media buying governance and financial control.
- Any other task handed over by the function head.
- Perform all the above-mentioned roles and responsibilities in compliance with the Information Security Management System (ISMS) policies, and report any information/physical security breaches or incidents to Data Control Department immediately. Ensure all team members are following the policies mentioned.
- Be aware of, and adhere to, all environmental requirements as set by the statutory bodies in Kuwait, or by the published policies of Zain Group/Kuwait.
Educational
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field.
Experience:
A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in social media buying or digital media planning.
- Strong understanding of paid social platforms and media metrics.
- Experience working with media budgets, billing, and reconciliation.
- Familiarity with procurement and financial control processes is a strong advantage.
