Full Stack Developer

FUNCTION:
Responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining software applications, specifically using the Microsoft .Net framework. Develop and support front end and backend components of an application.

PRIMARY TASKS:

• Gather and understand requirements and transform them into useful applications in line with the service goals.
• Build server-side components and APIs using .NET, C#, ASP.NET, and other related technologies.
• Design and implement relational database systems using SQL Server.
• Write code to integrate with databases such as MySQL, MSSQL, and Oracle Databases.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues and implement fixes in a timely manner.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security.
• Test applications to ensure they meet requirements and are free of bugs.
• Analyze, evaluate, and document user requests for new and modified systems and applications that may leverage existing technologies or incorporate new ones that need to be researched and evaluated.
• Collaborate with other team members to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Stay up to date with new technologies and best practices in web development.
• Follow the university rules and regulations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

SELECTION CRITERIA:

ESSENTIAL:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in C#, ASP.Net, and SQL Server.
• Familiarity with software design patterns, unit testing, and continuous integration/deployment.
• Understanding of web development concepts.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with agile software development methodologies is preferred.
