This is a full-time, on-site role based in Shuwaikh for a Warehouse Manager and Stock Controller. The role is responsible for supervising day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, organizing, and dispatching construction materials and other products. The Warehouse Manager and Stock Controller will monitor inventory levels, maintain accurate stock records, and ensure timely replenishment to meet customer and project demands. Daily tasks include coordinating with procurement and sales teams, planning warehouse layout for efficient space utilization, and overseeing loading and unloading activities.
The role also involves enforcing safety and housekeeping standards, managing a warehouse team, arranging regular cycle counts and stocktakes, and ensuring all stock movements are properly documented in the inventory system. The position may require operating or supervising the operation of forklifts and other material-handling equipment in compliance with safety regulations.
- Strong stock and inventory skills, including Stock Control, Inventory Control, and Inventory Management.
- Experience in warehouse and Operations Management, preferably in construction materials or a similar sector.
- Knowledge of safe material-handling practices;
Forklift Operation experience or certification is an advantage. - Proficiency with inventory or ERP systems and basic MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate warehouse teams, delegate tasks, and manage performance.
- Solid organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping.
- Ability to work on-site in Shuwaikh and handle physically active warehouse environments.
- Previous experience in a warehouse supervisor, stock controller, or similar role; relevant vocational training or diploma in logistics, supply chain, or a related field is preferred.
- Clear and professional communication skills in English;
Arabic language skills are an asset.
