The Warehouse Specialist & Stock Controller is a full-time, on-site role based in Shuwaikh. This role is responsible for receiving, inspecting, and organizing incoming goods, ensuring accurate labeling and storage according to company standards. The position involves monitoring stock levels, updating inventory records, and conducting regular stock counts to identify variances and prevent shortages or overstock. The role also includes preparing orders for dispatch, coordinating with procurement and sales teams, and maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse environment.
The Warehouse Specialist & Stock Controller will use inventory systems and basic reporting tools to support decision-making and continuous improvement in warehouse operations.
- Strong stock control, stock management, and inventory control skills with attention to accuracy and detail.
- Solid analytical skills to interpret stock data, identify discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with warehouse staff, procurement, logistics, and sales teams.
- Previous experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain roles, preferably in construction materials or related industries.
- Familiarity with inventory management software, barcode systems, and basic MS Office (Excel, Word).
- Ability to perform physical tasks, follow safety procedures, and maintain an organized work area.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional vocational training or certifications in logistics or warehousing are an advantage.
- Strong reliability, time management, and problem-solving abilities, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
