The Defense Sector at Leidos has an opening for a Supply Technician I in support of Storage Area Operations for the Ammunition Supply Activity Program ASP TSA in Kuwait.
The Supply Technician I reports directly to the Project Manager.
ResponsibilitiesPerforms a variety of Class V warehousing duties to include
- Ammunition and Residue receipts
- issues
- shipments
- turn-ins
- re-warehousing and inter-depot transfers
- Verifies materials against receiving documents noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damage
- Routes material to prescribed storage locations
- Stocks stack s and palletizes munitions
- Prepares and uses magazine data cards
- Prepares lite boxes
- Rearranges and inventories stored munitions
- Examines stored materials and reports deterioration and damage
- Removes munitions from storage and issues munitions upon receipt of proper documentation
- Reports any unauthorized access to restricted areas
- Ensures operational areas are free of debris and rubbish
- Operates Material Handling Equipment
- Other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or equivalent and 1 or more years of supply and logistical experience
- ammunition storage experience a plus
- Active DOD Secret security clearance or the able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance
- Ability to apply critical thinking skills to complex issues
- Commitment to outstanding customer service both internal and external
- Experience resolving complex issues utilizing external resources and escalating internally when appropriate
- Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain a consistent on-site schedule
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Kuwait Driver s license and hold a valid U S driver s license nbsp
- Must be able to obtain a Kuwaiti work visa
- Active DoD Secret security clearance
- Experience in ammunition storage issue receipt preparation safety and accountability procedures
- Experience in the operation of Material Handling Equipment MHE- example Forklift RTCH div div
