Warehouse Operations Specialist

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Warehouse & Transportation Operations Specialist to support the Warehouse and Transportation Managers in driving operational efficiency, monitoring performance, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. This role plays a key part in coordinating daily warehouse activities, analyzing operational data, resolving issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth warehouse operations and effective execution of business objectives.

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with hands-on operational experience and the ability to turn plans into measurable results.

• Daily Management Support: Support the Warehouse and Transportation Managers in day-to-day operations, including organizing meetings, consolidating operational data, preparing weekly and monthly reports, and following up on action items to ensure efficient warehouse management.
• Project Implementation: Take ownership of assigned operational initiatives, such as process optimization, workforce reviews, safety inspections, and inventory reconciliation. Break down implementation plans, monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery and completion of agreed actions.
• KPI Monitoring and Improvement: Work closely with the Warehouse and Transportation Managers to define, monitor, and track key operational performance indicators, including inbound processing time, outbound order accuracy, inventory discrepancy rates, and workforce productivity. Identify performance deviations, support root-cause analysis, and drive corrective actions.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with Delivery, Merchandising, Supply Chain, and other relevant teams to coordinate resources, streamline communication, and ensure warehouse-related issues and operational requirements are addressed promptly.
• On-Site Operational Support: Maintain a strong presence on the warehouse floor, assisting the Warehouse Manager with operational inspections, employee coaching, and exception handling to ensure compliance with operational procedures and service standards.

• Bachelor's degree or above in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain operations. Previous experience in warehouse management is preferred.
• Good understanding of warehouse processes, including receiving, put-away, picking, dispatch, and inventory counting, as well as familiarity with warehouse management systems and operational tools.
• Strong analytical skills and data awareness, with the ability to independently consolidate operational data, identify trends, and prepare basic performance analyses.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work independently with cross-functional teams and drive action items through to completion.
• Good written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate effectively in day-to-day business settings.
