Position:
Sr. Escrow Officer
Location:
Kyle, TX (Under construction, initial 6 months of training at New Braunfels location)
Duration: FTE/Perm
Working Hours: M-F, 8-5
Interview Process:

Compensation structure:
- Additional compensation tiers begin after the first dollar
- Based on closed transactions, premium/closing fees, etc.
- Average total compensation for mid-level Escrow Officers: $100k+
- Additional benefits and compensation types offered
Desired Skillset:
- Holding a current Escrow License for a minimum of 5 years, completing continuing education to maintain licensure.
- 5 years of recent title insurance and escrow experience.
- Proficient in title insurance and closing software solutions.
- Must have an active portable book of business in the area (NB, Kyle, Buda, Greene, Austin and surrounding areas)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good problem-solving skills and sound judgment/reasoning skills.
- Attention to detail, strong time management, and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Work flexible hours as needed, including weekends. Availability for periodic travel to work-site locations.
Day to Day:
- Responsible for intake, processing, closing, and funding of title orders.
- Understand escrow processes to conduct closings per real estate contract and lender instructions.
- Collaborate with the title department to resolve title issues (legal descriptions, easements, lot splits, vesting, tax liens, judgments, bankruptcies, boundary disputes, encroachments, lis pendens, etc.).
- Review title commitments for accuracy and completeness, work with parties to prepare closing documents.
- Conduct closings in-office or with outside vendors, involving customers, realtors, lenders, and attorneys.
- Review documents for accuracy, prepare files for disbursement.
- Perform other duties aligned with organizational values and goals.
