The Patient Care Technician (PCT) provides a range of patient care activities and support services under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse (LVN/LPN). Duties are performed within defined role limitations and do not include administering medications, providing therapy, or assuming independent responsibility for patient care. All tasks must align with established policies, procedures, and guidelines.
This position requires 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends and holidays.
Qualifications- Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Current BLS certification.
- Experience: Two (2) to three (3) years of experience in an acute care hospital, rehabilitation setting, or skilled nursing unit preferred.
