Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer, Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse, the Dialysis Registered Nurse uses the nursing process to deliver, direct, and supervise care for patients on dialysis. Duties include care planning, interdisciplinary coordination, discharge planning, patient and family teaching, and accessing community resources. Other related duties may be assigned, and Charge Nurse may require ACLS certification.
Qualifications- Registered Nurse license in the state of application
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification preferred initially and required after 90 days of employment. All Charge Nurses, High Observation, and ICU staff must have ACLS from day 1.
- Nephrology Nursing Certification (NNCC) preferred but not required
- One year experience with Tablo preferred
