Quantum Towing and Recovery is a leading provider of towing and roadside assistance services in the greater central TX area. We pride ourselves on our commitment to customer satisfaction and maintaining a reliable fleet of vehicles to serve our community's needs. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated Fleet Manager to oversee our shop operations in the tow yard.

Responsibilities:

· Manage all aspects of shop operations in the tow yard, including vehicle maintenance, repairs, and scheduling.

· Utilize fleet management software or systems to track vehicle information and performance, ensuring optimal efficiency and safety.

· Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards governing fleet operations.

· Communicate effectively with drivers to address any issues or concerns.

· Perform automotive diagnostics and coordinate repairs as needed.

· Inventory and shop management, including ordering parts and supplies.

· Schedule routine maintenance and prioritize repairs to minimize downtime.

· Oversee hazmat management processes and ensure proper handling and disposal procedures are followed.

Qualifications and Skills:

· Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to effectively manage a large fleet of vehicles.

· Excellent problem-solving skills to address issues related to vehicle maintenance, repairs, and scheduling.

· Proficiency in using fleet management software or systems.

· Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements for fleet operations.

· Strong communication skills to interact effectively with drivers.

· Clean driving record with no tickets or accidents in the past 3 years.

· Diesel mechanic certification.

· Texas Driver’s License (Required).

· Prior auto shop experience required.

· Subject to background check.

· Hazmat management experience strongly preferred.

· CDL and TDLR licenses strongly preferred, other fleet experience will be considered.
