Bianchet is an independent Swiss watchmaking Maison operating in the highest segment of contemporary haute horlogerie, with a strong focus on tourbillons and technically sophisticated mechanical timepieces.

As Bianchet continues to grow, we are looking for a highly motivated professional to take ownership of a critical function within a small, entrepreneurial and fast moving company.

Role Description

The position combines supplier management, procurement, production planning and ERP administration with the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications for movements, cases and watch components. The successful candidate will take ownership of supply chain and procurement activities, ensuring that complex watchmaking components move efficiently from technical definition through sourcing, planning and production.

The role requires a professional who combines strong operational supply chain skills with a solid technical understanding of watchmaking components and manufacturing processes. This is a hands on role requiring direct involvement in the daily operational details of purchasing, planning, stock control, supplier follow up and component availability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing suppliers, quotations and purchase orders
  • Monitoring lead times, deliveries and production priorities
  • Ensuring the complete availability of all components required for production and identifying and resolving shortages before they affect assembly
  • Maintaining accurate ERP data, BOM structures, stock information and inventory records
  • Supporting production planning and material requirements
  • Following up on technical, delivery and quality issues with suppliers
  • Reading and understanding technical drawings for movements, cases and watch components
Your Profile
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in the Swiss watchmaking industry, within a Maison, component supplier, movement manufacturer or case manufacturer
  • Strong knowledge of watchmaking components and manufacturing processes
  • The ability to read and understand technical drawings
  • Experience in procurement, planning, stock management and supplier follow up
  • A good understanding of ERP and MRP systems, ideally Odoo or a comparable platform
  • A practical, autonomous and highly organized working style
  • Strong personal motivation, initiative and a willingness to grow together with the company
The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to play a central role in the development of a growing independent Maison, with direct responsibility for a critical function and a visible impact on the company's operations and production.

Location and Application

If you combine technical understanding, strong supply chain expertise and the ambition to play a central role in a growing independent Maison, we would be pleased to hear from you.

Please note that only candidates whose experience closely matches the requirements of the position will be considered.
