Construction Project Manager – Kwik Trip, Inc.

Location:

Ettrick, WI.

Base pay range: $75,160.13/yr - $/yr.

This individual will work closely with Kwik Trip’s Store Engineering and Real Estate Departments in developing, planning, and permitting for expansions and remodels of existing retail locations. The primary responsibility is obtaining the necessary information outlined in Kwik Trip’s Major Addition Handbook for each store so Kwik Trip can complete the design and bid process, as well as the permitting and approval process.

responsibilities
  • Plan, administer, and coordinate multiple permitting and approval processes to facilitate the construction.
  • Occasionally attend and represent Kwik Trip at public hearings and meetings.
Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree in Architecture or Construction Management, or a related field with at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Basic knowledge of commercial construction and architectural design.
  • Knowledge of local government organizations, zoning, and municipal planning practices.
  • Understanding of city, state, and federal laws and regulations pertaining to land use, construction, and environmental impact to determine site viability.
  • Ability to speak and present at public meetings such as planning and city council meetings.
  • Ability to read and interpret site plans and surveys.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple design professionals.
Other qualifications
  • Accurate and detail oriented.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and AutoCAD.
  • Basic knowledge of construction sequencing/scheduling.
  • Basic knowledge of bidding and contracting practices.
  • Exercise sound judgment within company guidelines.
  • Prioritize, delegate, and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong time management skills to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrate a high level of customer service.
Work schedule

45 hours per week, typically Monday through Friday with some evening meetings and overnights. Flexibility in schedule; including 1/2 days on Fridays.

Relocation

Candidate must be willing to relocate or be onsite 3 days a week.
