Position Overview
Creative Services Producer – Full‑time
News 8 Now is looking for an energetic visual communicator to produce top‑notch commercial spots for businesses in the Coulee Region. The role offers an excellent benefits package and a starting pay rate of $18 per hour.
ResponsibilitiesProduce and edit short‑form commercial content (typically 30 seconds) for local businesses, including concept development, script writing, graphics, videography and post‑production.
Collaborate with Marketing Consultants and the News Department to create engaging, region‑specific content for on‑air and online platforms.
Act as a “Content Creator,” delivering original, exclusive material that drives viewers to the station’s digital offerings.
Work independently or as part of a creative team, maintaining a high‑quality visual aesthetic and strong storytelling focus.
EssentialSkills & Qualifications
- Solid expertise with video cameras, including broadcast‑quality and digital SLR equipment
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Audition, Photoshop)
- In‑studio and on‑location lighting and audio proficiency
- Strong graphic and motion‑design talent
- Experience piloting drones and/or Part 107 certification preferred but not required
A valid driver’s license and good driving record are required.
