Creative Services Producer

Overview

Storyteller, Visual Maestro, Creative Genius. News 8 Now is looking for a Creative Services Producer who will contribute to producing and shaping on-air and online content. This is a full-time opportunity with excellent benefits and starting pay rate of $18 per hour.

As part of News 8 Now, you will be producing top notch commercials for Coulee Region businesses, including concept, script writing, graphics, videography, and editing. You’ll work solo at times and with the team at other times, delivering high quality video and graphic spots. You will craft :30 (or less, or more) stories that showcase a product or business, in collaboration with Marketing Consultants.

Television is evolving, and this role includes Content Creator responsibilities—specialized and exclusive content that showcases our area and drives viewers and users of our online offerings. You’ll collaborate with members of the Marketing & Creative teams and the News Department.

You are an excellent visual communicator with a personal, collaborative style. You provide and receive constructive criticism with ease, prioritizing the project over ego.

• Produce high quality commercials for Coulee Region businesses, including concept, script writing, graphics, videography, and editing
• Work solo or with the team to develop story concepts and deliver 30-second (or varied length) spots that showcase a product or business
• Collaborate with Marketing Consultants to create compelling on-air and online content
• Serve as a Content Creator by developing specialized and exclusive content that engages viewers
• Collaborate with the Marketing & Creative teams and the News Department

• Solid expertise with video cameras including broadcast quality and digital SLR
• Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite, primarily Premiere, After Effects, Audition, and Photoshop
• In-studio and on-location lighting and audio proficiency
• Strong graphic and motion design talent
• Experience piloting drones and/or Part 107 Certification preferred but not required

A valid driver’s license and good driving record are required.
