Job Description

Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking a Pediatric Neurologist to join our outstanding neurology and pediatric subspecialities team. Must be BC in neurology with special qualification in child neurology. Join an expanding team of one child neurologist; one PM&R physician; one pediatric neuropsychologist and pediatric neurology nurses. We are also supported by a robust Pediatrics and Pediatrics Specialties department with specialties including medical genetics, pediatric ophthalmology, pediatric cardiology, pediatric endocrinology, etc.

We also have support of Child Life Specialists and Children’s Miracle Network. Our adult neurologist team has 14 physicians and 5 APC staff. Our radiology team has 2 neuro-radiologists on staff. We are supported by 2 EEG Technologists.

• Robust nursing support
• Multidisciplinary clinic settings including Neuromotor clinic, Headache clinic, NICU follow up clinic and Neurodevelopment clinic

• We are a 325-Bed Level II Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center with two medical transport helicopters and a ground ambulance service that provides care to 22 counties in the tri-state area
• We have a level III, 18 bed NICU, 4 bed PICU and 10 bed Pediatrics Unit

Must have completed an accredited graduate medical training program and be board certified or eligible within the area of medicine stated. In addition, must have or be able to obtain a license to practice in our multi-state region with no restrictions or limitations. Medical staff in our system will supervise advanced practice clinicians. Medical staff may need to provide outreach service as part of their role in the system.

Teaching students, residents, fellows or clinical staff is cornerstone to our Medical Education philosophy and an expectation of all medical staff.
