Overview

Mayo Clinic Health System is seeking a full time board eligible/board certified General Surgeon to join an established and collegial practice in La Crosse, WI. The successful candidate should possess excellent clinical skills and can expect a busy practice in a physician-led, financially stable organization committed to high quality care and patient satisfaction. The patient population is mostly adult and support from nursing, APP and WOCN staff is available in both clinic and hospital settings.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive community general surgery and endoscopy practice.
• Multispecialty Clinic & Hospital.
• Common EPIC EMR.
• State of Wisconsin Level III Trauma Center.
• Weekday and Weekend call expectations.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be board-certified/board eligible in General Surgery.
• Surgeons must have training/experience and qualified skills in areas of general surgery and endoscopy. Fellowship training is not required to apply.
• The general surgeon will be responsible for providing clinic-based consultations, clinic procedures (dedicated procedure room in clinic space), surgical and endoscopic procedures in the hospital.

License Or Certification

Board-certification/board-eligible in General Surgery.
