Gundersen Health System seeks a Pulmonary/Sleep Medicine Physician in La Crosse, WI. Join a 50% Sleep Medicine and outpatient Pulmonary practice.
Overview- Two physicians and three APC staff in sleep practice; four pulmonary physicians and three APC in pulmonary clinic.
- 8‑bed on‑site sleep lab plus 2‑bed regional lab; partnership with five rural hospitals.
- Academic partnership with UW Medical School – teaching & research.
- Part of a 325‑bed Level II Trauma Center serving a 22‑county region.
- Location offers outdoor recreation, schools, and affordable housing.
- Outpatient pulmonary clinic; 3‑4 inpatient pulmonary floor shifts per month.
- Staff APCs, teach residents and medical students, read PFTs.
- Lead pulmonary nodule and COPD clinics with respiratory therapists, medical assistants, nurses.
- Conduct sleep medicine polysomnography, telemedicine, and virtual practice.
- Collaboration with regional hospitals, academic partners, and sustainability initiatives.
- Board‑certified Pulmonary/Sleep Medicine or eligible.
- Completed accredited graduate medical training; license to practice in multi‑state region with no restrictions.
- Experience supervising advanced practice clinicians.
- Teaching of students, residents, fellows or clinical staff expected.
