Seeking a BE/BC PM&R Physician interested in a hybrid inpatient/outpatient position focusing on neurological rehabilitation, but with opportunity for musculoskeletal as part of the outpatient practice.
Details:
- Full-time, employed position
- We are part of a large multispecialty clinic practicing within the Neuroscience Center along with Neurology, Neurosurgery and Pain Medicine
- Join a team of 4 Musculoskeletal PM&R Physicians; 1 Pediatric PM&R Physician; 4 Inpatient PM&R APCs; 3 Outpatient/MSK PM&R APCs; 5 Neuropsychologists; 3 Chiropractors
- Inpatient Practice:
Recently remodeled 20 bed unit in the hospital managed by the 4 Neurorehabilitation physicians and 4 APCs - Call is managed by APCs, includes nights, weekend, and holiday coverage shared amongst providers
- Excellent hospitalist support for medically complex patients
- Outpatient Practice:
Focus on neurological rehabilitation including CVA, SCI, TBI, MS, concussion, spasticity management including Botox and intrathecal baclofen pump management - MSK is a reduced focus of practice, but available
- Potential for EMG
- Procedures:
- EMG
- Botox injections
- Trigger Point Injections and nerve blocks
