We are looking for a Benefits Analyst to support the administration, accuracy, and ongoing improvement of our benefits programs. In this role, you’ll help maintain our benefits systems, troubleshoot technical issues, audit data, and ensure coworkers have a smooth and reliable benefits experience. This position works closely with senior team members and benefit vendors to keep our systems compliant, efficient, and aligned with organizational needs.
Basepay range
$24.66/hr - $36.99/hr
Responsibilities- Support benefit enrollment systems by following established processes and assisting with system testing and updates.
- Ensure benefit enrollments, life events, and coworker changes are processed accurately.
- Assist with system upgrades, configuration changes, and workflow improvements.
- Participate in vendor calls and webinars; provide feedback and recommendations.
- Serve as second-level support for technical issues escalated by HR team members.
- Review and complete PCCs and audit benefit deductions loaded into payroll systems.
- Load and audit payroll and vendor files to ensure accuracy.
- Perform routine audits of HR and benefits data to ensure integrity and compliance.
- Generate regular and ad-hoc reports, metrics, and analytics for stakeholders.
- Associate degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred.
- 2–4 years of HR experience; benefits experience preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookup, formulas, text-to-columns, etc.).
- Understanding of data file layouts (.csv, .txt) and basic data import/export concepts.
- Knowledge of ERISA, HIPAA, and other benefits regulations is helpful.
- Strong time management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Willingness to work outside normal business hours when needed to support payroll deadlines.
- Someone who enjoys system work, data accuracy, and process improvement.
- A team player who collaborates well with others and communicates clearly.
- A detail-oriented problem solver who can troubleshoot issues and follow through.
- Someone comfortable learning new systems and working with vendors.
