Ink Inplant Technician II: La Crosse, WI

Overview

Under minimal to no supervision, provide intermediate level color matching, formulating, and small batch blending support on-site at our customer location.

• Produce and quality control inks to ensure inks meet or exceed the customer’s specifications.
• Perform color matching and formulation.
• Maintain detailed production and QC records.
• Support customer’s schedule through production coordination.
• Identify and execute at a high level any rework opportunities based on review of batch tickets.
• Provide strong press side technical service, troubleshoot problems, and provide detailed and consistent technical reporting.
• Maintain monthly and weekly reporting to CTS and Sales organization.
• Maintain housekeeping and safe operations.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lb. buckets; and move 500 lb. drums following operating procedures.

• High School Diploma or GED
• Knowledge of MS Word/Excel/Outlook; as well as dispensing and color match software
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs. throughout the day
• 3+ years industry experience
• This is a customer-facing position that requires a high degree of interpersonal skill.
