What's in it for you:Join Trane Technologies as a Manufacturing Systems Engineer in La Crosse, WI! In this role, you will operate innovative engineered systems and develop, coordinate, and implement sustainable manufacturing production processes. Your cross-functional team will be focused on delivering quality, safety, and operational efficiency improvements.
What you will do:- Provide timely resolution of manufacturing process, product and system issues, including root cause investigations, data analysis, corrective action planning, and system updates as needed.
- Develop and support cost-effective, safe and scalable manufacturing processes, and the supporting digital systems required to execute, monitor, and improve operations.
- Design and support manufacturing flow lines, and station controls that optimize efficiency, operating costs, and product quality.
- Uphold manufacturing standards and master data including machine capability, process maps, set-ups, quality controls, tooling and fixture records, routings, and cycle times.
- Generate work instructions, job breakdowns, and standardized work to ensure quality at the source meets product and manufacturing specifications given local needs.
- Troubleshoot MES technical, transactional and configuration issues; support end users; and drive adoption through effective training and documentation.
- Serve as a voice of the customer for input for new design development.
- Partner with on-site EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) to ensure all equipment meets safety regulations compliant with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration).
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
- PFMEA experience preferred.
- Ability to accurately assess manufacturing issues related to process and design.
- Effective communication at multiple levels coupled with ability to build relationships.
- Growth mindset - desire to expand technical skillset.
- Results-driven to maintain accountability and customer-focus.
- Degree preferred in Engineering or related technical disciplines. Candidates without a 4-year degree are encouraged to apply; we prioritize practical experience, relevant skills, and alignment with our leadership principles.
