Registered Nurse (RN) - Inpatient Behavioral Health (0.75 FTE)Location:
Main Campus, La Crosse, WI
Department:
Inpatient Behavioral Health (IBH)
Scheduled Weekly
Hours:
60 hours per two weeks | Rotating 12‑hour Day/Night shifts (0630‑1900 / 1830‑0700);
Every third weekend;
Two holidays per year

Help patients in crisis and be part of their healing journey.
- Provide compassionate, trauma‑informed and evidence‑based care to patients experiencing acute mental health crisis.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, NPs, RNs, behavioral health specialists, CNAs, social workers, therapists, clergy, and addiction counselors.
- Support patients through crisis stabilization, medication management, and therapeutic interventions.
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (minimum)
- Active and unencumbered RN license to practice in the state of Wisconsin
- Preferred: 1+ year of RN experience, ideally in mental health
- Current Infant‑Adult BLS for Health Care Providers
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Starting pay of $38.01/hour + experience‑based increases
- Shift, weekend, and holiday differentials
