Position: Quality Control Manager (La Crosse, WI)
We are seeking an on-site Quality Control (QC) Manager to lead quality assurance efforts and ensure construction projects are completed in full compliance with contract specifications. The ideal candidate can be based anywhere in the U.S. and will travel to assigned job sites as needed. Anticipated project locations include, but are not limited to, Chicago, IL;
Marquette, MI; and Webber Falls, OK.
Quality Control Manager Responsibilities:
Responsible for and coordinates all quality control system implementation on the project and has the authority to act in all QC matters.Oversees quality aspects of the project, including management of all quality control activities, personnel, and reporting as required.Performs all quality control inspections and testing.Maintains current records providing factual evidence that required quality control activities and tests have been performed.Examines the quality control methods being used to determine if the contractor is properly controlling design activities in design-build contracts.Ensures necessary changes are made in the quality control system.Applies specialized construction skills to ensure the work is being done properly.Tracks daily project progress, operational management activities, submittal preparation, and review as they relate to quality compliance.Must be able to travel and work on-site based on project requirements.Performs other job-related duties necessary to carry out the responsibilities of this position.Quality Control Manager
Qualifications:Must be a graduate engineer or a graduate of construction management.Minimum 10 years of construction experience on construction contracts.Ability to be onsite during construction.Strong construction background, with marine construction experience preferred.Knowledge of construction, project management, and design-build construction through experience and education.Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Knowledge of project management control systems, including scheduling, cost control, procurement, value engineering, and estimating.About Brennan:
