Overview:

Under general direction, performs a variety of duties including maintenance of electrical equipment, signal systems, electric motors, generators, and electronic controls.

What you will do:

Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, equipment, motors, generators, and controls

Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical drawings.

Measure, cut, bend, and install conduit, wiring, and other electrical components to specifications.

Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs on electrical equipment and systems.

Operate hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, welding equipment, and other maintenance equipment as needed.

Support other maintenance team members through collaboration and communication.

Work safely, wear PPE, and follow all safety procedures

May operate other machinery as required.

Assists other maintenance personnel in various maintenance and construction tasks as required.

Assists team to maintain safety and good housekeeping practices in shop and work area.

Experience reading electrical blueprints and schematics

Three years of industrial electrical maintenance experience preferred.

Basic computer and troubleshooting skills.

HS Diploma or GED preferred

Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen

Positive attitiude

Ability to work Overtime as needed

Ability to be "On-Call" as needed

Be comfortable standing and walking for extended periods

Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.
