Airport Agent - Ramp and Customer Service

Pay Rate: $14.08/hr

How will you make an impact?

• Guide and direct incoming and outgoing aircraft on the taxiway to ensure safety and timeliness in entering or leaving gates.
• Load, unload, sort, and transfer passenger baggage, cargo/freight, and company materials, some weighing up to 75 lbs.
• Operate ground equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and bag carts to assist with aircraft movement and baggage handling.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure safe and on-time departures.
• May clean aircraft interiors and service lavatories.
• Create a positive passenger experience by greeting passengers and providing seamless check-in and ticketing.
• Use reservation/ticketing software to rebook itineraries, issue boarding passes, and handle fees.
• Inform passengers about their trips and belongings, ensuring clear communication.
• Work with the team to process passenger information accurately and ensure timely flight departures.
• Address passenger issues related to flight interruptions in a friendly and timely manner.
• Assist in tracking baggage and handling passenger inquiries in the Baggage Service Office.

Who are we looking for?

• Minimum age: 18
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Valid, unexpired, and unsuspended state driver’s license (some restrictions may apply)
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including days, overnights, weekends, holidays, and days off
• Flexibility to work additional hours on short notice
• Capable of lifting and carrying items up to 75 lbs.
• Willing to work outdoors in variable weather conditions
• Enjoy working under deadlines and have an interest in the airline industry
• Excellent communication skills in English (reading, writing, speaking, understanding)
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
