Position: Senior Civil Engineer (10 Plus Years of Experience)

Senior Civil Engineer (10+ Years of Experience)

Anderson Perry & Associates, Inc. (AP) is seeking a highly motivated senior engineer to join our team providing personalized engineering services to communities and clients throughout central and eastern Oregon and Washington.

Base Pay: $110,000 to $150,000
Paid time off, 401(k) retirement plan, and 100% company-paid employee health, life, and disability insurance. Approximately 85% to 90% of family medical is also covered.

Locations:
La Grande, Oregon;
Walla Walla, Washington;
Redmond, Oregon;
Hermiston, Oregon.

Responsibilities
  • Fund, plan, and design municipal water, wastewater, water resources, utility, site development, and transportation projects.
  • Develop project scope, budget, schedule, and delivery plans.
  • Produce studies, reports, design drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Make public presentations.
  • Provide funding and bidding assistance, construction management for water, wastewater, site development, and other municipal infrastructure and transportation projects.
  • Assist with client relations and business development efforts.
Qualifications
  • Four‑year civil or mechanical engineering degree from an accredited university (Master's preferred).
  • 10+ years of relevant experience designing water, wastewater, water resources, and/or other infrastructure projects for public entities.
  • Professional engineer’s license in Oregon and/or Washington, or ability to obtain one within 6 months of employment.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Public speaking skills; experience in client, public, contractor meetings.
  • Experience writing planning documents, work agreements, and task orders.
  • Project management experience including managing subconsultants.
  • Leadership, training, and motivational ability; strong teamwork.
  • Experience developing effective long‑lasting relationships with clients, peers, and management.
